Tarkio Golf Club

It is now official.  Tarkio has returned the Ryder Cup to our clubhouse.  The results were very one-sided with Tarkio taking an easy victory.  The results are as follows.

Here is the score for the 1st leg of the Ryder Cup held in Mound City this morning.  The scores are:

Tarkio --> 197 

Mound City --> 208 

Rock Port  --> 215.

The next leg will be played in Rock Port at

1 P.M. today.

The second round at Rock Port has been completed and Tarkio extended its lead.  Scores are below.

The final round will take place on Sunday, July 25th, 2010 at the Tarkio Golf Club at 9 a.m.  The final round will consist of 9 holes of scramble and 9 holes of alternate shot.

Final results will be posted here at 1 p.m. if there are no weather stoppages.
We now have a full contingent of golfers for the Ryder Cup event scheduled for Saturday and Sunday at the various courses.

A meal will be available at the conclusion of the tournament.  The meal is being catered by Bluff's Catering and will consist of Brisket, Baked Beans & a potato, and drinks.  The cost will be $10.  Tarkio members please let me know if you want the meal.  I'll have a sign-up sheet in the clubhouse.

RYDER CUP

Because there are more than 9 teams wanting to participate in the Ryder Cup there will be a qualifying round on Saturday July 17th @ 9 a.m.  The format is as follows:

 

1st Nine holes will be a scramble.

2nd Nine holes will be alternate shot.


 There will be no fee for qualifying round


$120 per Team

 

After we have our 9 teams the Ryder Cup competition will begin at Mound City at 9 a.m. on Saturday, July 24th,where the teams will play a 9 hole scramble.  It’s then to Rock Port for a 1 p.m. tee time, which will be 9 holes of best ball.

On Sunday, July 25th, at 9 a.m. Tarkio will host the final 18 hole match.  This match will consist of a 9 hole scramble and 9 holes of alternate shot.

 

There will be a catered meal from Bluff’s Catering.  There will be an additional charge FOR the lunch.  I will have a sign up sheet available for those who want to purchase lunch.

 

Everyone is welcome to partake in the meal after the Ryder Cup is completed.  Sign up if you would like to have lunch with the golfers.
